ShelterBox is responding to the 7.2 magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti on August 14th. New reports have confirmed that over 137,000 homes have been damaged or destroyed, with over 1.2m people affected. These numbers are likely to continue to increase over the coming days.
Our initial response team is on the ground in the region and a logistics team will immediately follow to determine how we can best support the emergency shelter needs of displaced families in Haiti.
